Slightly better than good condition. Retold in easy words chiefly of one syllable. Blue cloth spine, pictorial front board. 4 colour plates, b/w text illustrations. 119 pages.
Spine is bumped and creased with small hole to front edge near top. Corners and cover edges worn. Rear cover very grubby. Clear tape for full length of both joints either to repair or strengthen. Endpapers browned. One colour plate page (two sided) is partially detached with tear to lower margin. Large child's drawing to verso of last text page, imprint is visible on text page. A couple of hinges starting to crack and a few brown marks to contents.
