A fascinating and scholary study of the familiar housesparrow. The housesparrow is the only branch of the important weaver family to have colonised the northern temperate zone. The author reviews the housesparrow's complex behaviour pattersn and movement and has scientifically explored the many aspects of sparrow history. Although a scientific study, this book is, nevertheless, beautifully written.
Uneven fading to spine. Name in ink to front endpaper. Some page browning. Wrapper is price-cut with browning and has publishers original clear film sleeve to protect wrapper, which is stuck to verso at edges.
