Did you know...

On this day in 1795, Scottish author, biographer, diarist and lawyer James Boswell sadly died. He had been born in Edinburgh and is best known for his biography of Samuel Johnson. His surname is used in the English language to mean 'a constant companion and observer', especially one who records the observations in print.
