  • Ruby and Garnet are ten year old twins - identical! They do everything together (well Ruby leads and Garnet follows) especially since their mother died three years earlier. They're very glad they've got each other when everything around them starts changing horribly. It is all Rose's fault. She is Dad's new friend - spoiling everything, changing Dad and then he announces they are going to live with Rose!
  • Ruby spots an ad in the paper - twins needed for a TV serial. It's their big chance but Garnet hates the idea!
