Good condition. Four volume set. Titles are: The Age of Revolution 1789-1848; The Age of Capital 1848-1875; The Age of Empire 1875-1914; The Age of Extremes 1914-1991. Blue cloth boards, silver title to spines, blocked design to front. Colour & b/w illustrations.
A lovely set contained in publisher's slipcase which is horribly split so the back board falls flat i.e. split right through at join at top and bottom. Opposite lower edge also split although not all the way through. Books themselves undamaged. Hence low price. Sold with all faults.
