Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
Revised edition. Green boards with gilt titles to spine and blind titles to front board. Endpapers are maps. B/w illustrations. ISBN: 0224021249. Spine and corners slightly bumped. Light foxing to textblock and to dustwrapper. Wrapper is edge rubbed, faded to spine and slightly grubby to rear panel.

Almost very good condition.
Green cloth, gilt title to spine and embossed title to front cover. Pictorial endpapers of the Hill Country. B/w illustrations. Spine bumped and a little faded. Slight bumping to corners. Small mark to rear board. Name in ink to verso of front endpaper. Enapapers lightly browned and foxed. Some foxing and marks to contents but many pages are clean.

Arthur Ransome
Arthur Michell Ransome (18 January 1884 – 3 June 1967) was an English author and journalist. He is best known for writing the Swallows and Amazons series of children's books about the school-holiday adventures of children, mostly in the Lake District and the Norfolk Broads. The books remain popular and Swallows and Amazons is the basis for a tourist industry around Windermere and Coniston Water, the two lakes Ransome adapted as his fictional North Country lake.
