Almost very good condition in a fair dustwrapper. Green cloth with gilt title to spine and blind title to front cover. Endpapers are maps. B/w illustrations throughout. 375 pages. Ransome was the third illustrator of this title, first done with his illustrations in 1938.
Some white 'drip' marks to front cover. Foxing to outer page edges. Wrapper is in two pieces; torn all way down one side of spine. Old tape to base of wrapper spine; yellowed. Tears and chips, with some loss to wrapper, with much creasing.
