Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
A delightful little book of joyful experiences in childhood and youth spent in the countryside. Distinctive b/w illustrations by Tunnicliffe evoke the atmosphere of days gone by. Green cloth, silver lettering and decorations on spine. 160 pages includes 4 pages of folk songs. Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Covers lightly mottled. Name in ink to front free-endpaper. Foxing to endpapers, textblock and page margins. Price-cut wrapper is foxed, browning to spine and minimal loss to top and tail of spine.
