Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
An adaptation of Hoffmann's The Nutcracker And The Mouse King. Colour pictorial boards. bright colour pictures plus b/w illustrations. ISBN: 0192713795. Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Dustwrapper is lightly creased to top and tail of spine.

B/w illustrations. Top edge gilt. Copy 183 of 750 SIGNED by the artist to numbered original print. This is a lovely copy, contained in publisher's slipcase also in fine condition, contained in the original shipping box from Folio Society. This copy would make a wonderful gift.

Alexandre Dumas
Alexandre Dumas born Dumas Davy de la Pailleterie 24 July 1802 – 5 December 1870) was a French writer. His works have been translated into many languages, and he is one of the most widely read French authors. Many of his historical novels of high adventure were originally published as serials, including The Count of Monte Cristo and The Three Musketeers. His novels have been adapted since the early twentieth century into nearly 200 films.
