Macmillan & Co. 1886. Good condition with no wrapper. Being a facsimile of the original ms. book afterwards developed into "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland". Red cloth, gilt titles, borders and vignette to rear cover. Black endpapers. 95 pages. 37 b/w illustrations by the author. All edges gilt. Spine and corners bumped. Spine and covers are rubbed. Name in crayon to front pastedown. Front joint was cracked and has been neatly repaired. Ink name stamp to title-page. Light foxing and some page browning to contents.

Daily Express. 1947. Very good condition. Pictorial card wraps - Rupert running after a tiny dragon. 1st story Rupert and the Top Hat. 128 pages. Harrison printing. Edges rubbed, covers a little grubby. Name in ink in belongs to box. NOT price-cut. A few margin marks. Some pages of last story are slightly misprinted i.e. the colour is slightly out of sync.

Magic Painting pages. 114 pages. 10 x 7 inches. A stunning copy, not price-clipped or inscribed. Magic paintings NOT done. Corners sharp. Tiniest bump at top of spine. This book has not seen the light of day since it was published!

First story 'Rupert and the Water-Lily'. 107 pages. The merest hint of bumping to lower corners. An immaculate copy NOT price-cut or inscribed.

Oxford University Press, Humphrey Milford. 1st. 1936. Good condition. Russet cloth with picture of biplane over Africa to front cover, spears and shield to spine. Colour frontis plus 7 full-page b/w illustrations. 256 pages. Spine and corners bumped and worn, spine split to rear edge and has been repaired with glue. Covers and contents are grubby. Some page corners are creased and a few corner tips torn off. Some foxing. A few hinges cracked. Overall a decent copy of the scarce first edition in photocopy wrapper.
