Very good condition. Includes: Far from the Madding Crowd, The Trumpet Major, Tess of the d'Urbervilles, The Mayor of Castorbridge, and Jude the Obscure. Various colour cloth boards with corn dolly vignette to front boards.
Various printings of 1991 exceot Jude the Obscure which is a first thus 1992. Fading to spine of Jude the Obscure. Title blocks are scuffed. Minor foxing to text blocks. Contents otherwise clean. Contained in publisher's slipcase which is shelf-scuffed and has a small worn patch to one side, foxing/damp to inside of slipcase. Slipcase does give the impression of being just a little too large width-ways for the books... unsure if this set is the original set for the box.
