Spine and corners bumped. Covers are sunned, light scratch mark to rear cover. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Endpapers browned, light foxing to textblock and heavier foxspots to prelims. Dustwrapper is edge worn and torn with damp stains to sides of spine, 2" loss to top of spine and a small patch of loss to centre of rear panel.

Large tear to front endpaper has been repaired but final inch of tear has not. Erased writing on front endpaper and half-title page, also pen line and grubby marks to half-title. 3 hinges starting to crack. A few marks and fingermarks to contents but many pages are clean. Endpapers browned.
