Written by Jean Leymarie.
Stock no. 1831127
Published by Rizzoli International Publications. 1st thus 1987. Very good condition.

This is a comprehensive study, illustrating the work of some twenty artists, French, German, Dutch and Russian, and fills in the essential background of pre-Fauvism going back to Monet, Gauguin and Van Gogh. Large format. Green pictorial cardwraps. Colour illustrations. 120 pages including index. ISBN: 0847808157. Corners of covers lightly rubbed, a few minor marks and scuffs to covers. Minor foxing to text block. Contents clean.
