Blue cloth. Gilt title on spine is 'Peter - Teufel'. REDUCED FROM £480. Peter is 1st edition 1892. Teufel is 4th edition 1891. Covers unevenly faded. Corners bumped and worn. One inch split to top of spine. Small marks to covers. Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. A few margin marks and scattered foxing. Contents generally clean. A decent copy of this scarce early Wain, rare with additional title.

A few grubby marks to contents but generally a bright clean copy.

Wrapper is just slightly edge chipped, but otherwise complete. Some small closed tears to outer edges, 1" closed tear to spine. Brown paper reinforcements to outer edges of verso. Overall, wrapper is grubby with small stain to front panel. Still a desirable copy of a very scarce wrapper.
