Very good condition.
Two volumes bound as one in modern red cloth binding with gilt title 'Britton's Cathedrals' to spine with date of '1824' to base of spine. Contains: The History and the Antiquities of the Cathedral Church of Wells 1824; The History and Antiquities of the See and Cathedral Church of Exeter 1826. Marbled text block. B/w engravings of views, elevations, plans etc. First printings, latest date is 1826. A few minor grubby marks to boards which are otherwise bright. Some foxing to contents, mainly to plates. Binding is lovely and tight. Overall, a decent copy in modern binding.
