Blue cloth with gilt title to spine. Two-colour frontis and b/w illustrations. Bumping and wear to spine and cover edges. Some uneven browning to covers. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing to outer page edges Wrapper is faded to spine with tears; loss to top and tail of spine; some white label 'repairs' to verso.

Ryan's Fort is a small stone hut, the first real home the children of the Ryan family have ever known. Green boards with gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. 172 pages. Ex-library so stamps to publisher's page and removal of label from front pastedown. Tape residue to covers and endpapers. A little bumping to spine and corners. Small indentation to top edge of front cover. A few marks to contents. Dustwrapper is price-cut with revised label above. Slightly edge worn and grubby to rear panel, tape residue to flap.
