Slightly better than very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
Introduction by Richard Ingrams. Hogarth is one of the most distinguished illustrators and graphic artists of our age. Written with a great energy and wit, accompanied by a wealth of drawings and paintings from the earliest days right up to his latest works. Large format. Burgundy boards, gilt title to spine. Colour & b/w illustrations. 192 pages including index. ISBN: 0715306448. Lower tip of front board has a couple of tiny holes in cloth and is lightly rubbed. Contents are clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is a little grubby and lightly faded to spine, creased to top of rear panel with small closed tear (under 1") to vertical edge.
