Green cloth boards with black titles and decoration to spine, pictorial onlay of 'The Babes in the Wood' to top front board. xiv and 211 pages. Undated. A few minor marks to boards but generally nice and clean looking. Text block browned with a few foxspots. Endpapers lightly browned. Hinges to prelims lightly pulled. A few foxspotsmainly to margins. All plates present, some are worn at edges.

Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper (dated 1918). Grubby fingermarks to contents (including margins of plates).
