Green cloth, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. The first novel in the 14-book Lockett Family series. A classic "British holiday adventure" set in the rural countryside of pre-WWII England Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Some foxing to textblock and page margins else contents clean.

Both pastedowns are damaged from removal of sellotape(?), also small brown marks to endpapers. Library stamp to rear pastedown. Finger creases to pages but contents generally clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn and torn, only minimal loss.
