Large format. Three-quarter leather binding. Numerous b/w photos. 510 pages. "For Whom The World Is A Playground". A journal very much for the "upmarket" traveller in 1901. Including an ascent by an intrepid lady in her long dress! AS well as toboganning at St. Moritz and "Tours Through Toilet-Land"... Fascinating! Contents very good. Boards detached. Front endpaper creased.
