Ladybird Series 601. Illustrated buff boards. Colour illustrations. Spine and corners bumped. Pencil erasure mark to front free-endpaper. Contents clean. Price-cut wrapper is slightly edge rubbed and has 'PP' written in ink (and a small ink blot) to rear panel. Last title on rear flap is this one.

Spine and corners bumped with slight browning. A few foxspots else contents clean. Price-cut wrapper is edge rubbed with a couple of small tears.

Colour illustrations. 62 pages. Spine heavily faded. Boards a little grubby, a few small pen marks. Foxing to endpapers. Rear joint pulled forward. A few grubby marks to contents and fingering creases.

Colour illustrations. 62 pages. Spine and board edges faded. Boards are grubby and stained. Hinges pulled, stitching a little loose. Foxing to endpapers. Contents are a little grubby and are creased through reading use. A working copy only sold with all faults.

Colour pictures. 62 pages. Spine heavily faded with a small nick to rear edge, light uneven fading to boards - mainly at the edges. Gift inscription in ink to front endpaper. Stitching is a little loose. A few grubby marks to contents. Contents are lightly creased through reading use.

MOUNTAIN ENGINES

Railway series no. 19. Sir Handel is grumpy and complains about the coaches causing trouble for him. Rheneas tells him that he should be grateful that he does not work on a mountain railway. Sir Handel does not believe such a thing exists, and an argument ensues until Donald arrives with Culdee, a mountain engine. Small oblong format. Blue boards, white titles and vignette to front. Colour illustrations. 56 pages. Spine heavily faded, light fading to edges of boards. A few foxspots to endpapers and one or two to contents. Contents are lightly creased through reading use.

Dustwrapper is complete, just a little edge rubbed with a vertical crease to front edge of spine and a small tear to top edge of rear panel.
