Green covers, dark titles. Colour frontis. B/w illustrations. 238 pages. Spine slightly bumped. Spine faded. Small mark to front cover and rear cover slightly grubby. Dustwrapper is very edge worn and faded to spine, front panel is slightly grubby. Front panel of another wrapper has been stuck to rear pastedown of the book.

Jennings joins the Natural History club. Colour frontis, 4 b/w illustrations. Red boards, black title to spine. 256 pages, top edge red. Spine bumped and a few tiny dents to cover edges. Old tape marks to endpapers and half title-page and some light browning to endpapers. Foxing to textblock. Slight surface paper loss (from pencil erasure) to verso of frontis. Very small annotation mark to margin of page 156. Dustwrapper is edge rubbed with minimal loss at corners.
