Contained in publisher's slipcase which is lightly worn at ends, one end starting to split, and has a few minor knocks. Musty odour present.

Red leather embossed spine, gilt titles, brown cloth covers. 1680 pages + 8 pages of advertisements. Colour and b/w plates. A hefty volume. Spine and corners slightly bumped. Some hinges pulled/cracked but binding still nice and tight. Slight musty smell to contents. Dustwrapper is worn and torn with repairs on verso, section of loss to top corner of rear panel. Exceptionally scarce in dustwrapper.
