Old tape marks to front free-endpaper and last text page (because the endpaper is missing). Price-cut wrapper is slightly wrinkled and has a light vertical crease to front edge of spine.

Red boards, black titles. Colour frontis, b/w illustrations. 223 pages. 3rd impression. Spine and corners bumped. A few foxpspots to endpapers and textblock. Dustwrapper is in several pieces and is edge chipped and torn with slight loss to top of spine and tiny chip to lower edge of front panel. Rear panel is slightly grubby. Front flap is detached but held in place by old tape (which is now browned and loosing the glue!).
