Two colour plates plus b/w illustrations. Wear to corners and cover edges. Rear cover grubby. Ink inscription to top corner of front pastedown. Erased pencil scribble to rear endpapers. Foxing and a few marks to frontis, title page and first two text pages, rest of contents have less foxing and just a very odd mark. Some of dot-to-dots have been completed then erased.

A Volland Happy Children Book. Red paper boards with yellow titles and pictures of Raggedy Ann. 9.25 x 6.25". Illustrated endpapers. Colour illustrations throughout. Top 2.5" and bottom 1.25" of backstrip missing, wear to remaining. Wear to corners and cover edges. Covers slightly scuffed. Large tear to front endpaper has been repaired but final inch of tear has not. Erased writing on front endpaper and half-title page, also pen line and grubby marks to half-title. 3 hinges starting to crack. A few marks and fingermarks to contents but many pages are clean. Endpapers browned.

Spine and corners very slightly bumped and rubbed. Front cover is lovely and bright. There is a small dent to top edge of rear cover. Foxspots to textblock else contents clean.

Two plates have tears at top, worst is 2". Foxing and fingering to contents.

Front endpaper partially detached. A little surface paper damage to front endpaper where a list had been stuck. Page browning and some foxing plus some marks to contents, including a co A few small tears to margins. One plate is creased.

Front and rear joints badly cracked showing webbing beneath. Some hinges cracked. One plate is loose and has ragged edges. Foxing and browning especially to prelims. A few light marks otherwise contents generally clean.
