Pictorial grey cloth (illustration by Robinson) with gilt titles. Colour (chromolithograph) frontis. B/w illustrations throughout. 412 pages plus 16 page catalogue to rear. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Prize plate to front free-endpaper. Some stitching pulled but binding still tight. A couple of page corner tips torn off but no loss of text.

Name in heavy pencil to front pastedown. Joints are cracked but binding is still tight. Contents are grubby and foxed, initials to textblock.

Crease to one corner tip. Some light margin marks but contents are clean considering it is nearly 200 years old!

Some colouring (doodles to the rear of one plate and one b/w illustrations lightly coloured, there may be more that we have missed?). One page is part detached but is still present and hanging on by a 'thread'. There is foxing. Binders sticker to rear pastedown (H. Walker of Hyson Green).
