Shelf-wear to base of spine. Text block browned with minor foxing. Contents clean. Blue dustwrapper is very lightly edge-rubbed.

Modern three-quarter leather binding, gilt title and decorations to spine. Marbled boards. Book: Ex-lib. Minimal stamps. One small stamp to title page and one to verso of title page (no stamps to plates). Half-title has been strengthened at foredge. All plates present. A handsome copy.
