Very good condition in a good dustwrapper. A book of old favourites with new illustrations! Red cloth covers with orange vignettes and black titles and decorations. 8 colour plates plus b/w text illustrations. 286 pages. 8.5 x 5.5".

Spine and corners bumped. Some browning to base of spine. Endpapers browned, creases to front free-endpaper. 'M13' stamped to rear pastedown. Some foxing to textblock. Large but neat inscription in ink to front fly-leaf. Price-cut wrapper is grubby and worn to spine and corners with loss at base of spine.
