First story is Rupert and his Pet Monkey. 10.5 x 8.5". Unpaginated. Spine bumped and worn, corners very slightly bumped. A few pages are marked by a sticky/greasy spot.

Colouring to the Rupert illustration on front cover. Staples rusty. The tracing pages have been used and there is colouring to two of the illustrations.

Contains Rupert story "Rupert's Pet Monkey Gets Lost". Covers are a bit grubby and foxed. Pop-ups mostly in good working order, the Flower Fairy has creased so she doesn't stand up. Foxing to contents. Some hinges slightly cracked.

One of Mary Tourtel's first books before she went on to create Rupert Bear! Dumpy Books For Children series No. 10. Small format. Green cloth with dark green titles and stripes. Colour pictures with text facing, printed on one side of the paper only. A delightful little book! Foxing and browning to covers, with some uneven fading. Small nick to cloth at base of spine. Front joint is a bit cracked. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing and browning. A few hinges are a little pulled.
