SPANISH GARDENS

by Marquis De Casa Valdes

Published by Antique Collectors' Club. 1st. 1987

Good condition in a very good dustwrapper. The Marquesa de Casa Valdes was brought up to love nature and spent part of her childhood and youth in the beautiful regions of north-east Spain, where the pinewoods almost meet the sea. During her travels, she has been able to study the gardens of other latitudes and climsates, giving her a sound basis from which to define more clearly the art and skills involved in gardening. Large format. Green cloth boards, white titles. Colour & a few b/w photos.

Some light scuffing to boards. Small knock to lower edge of front board. Front joint is broken. Else binding is tight. Pictorial dustwrapper is lightly faded at edges.
