Some slightly bumped. Very slight fading to top edge of front cover. Foxding endpapers (and prelims) and heavy foxing to textblock. Dustwrapper is edge worn with some loss, front flap is creased and is foxed on verso.

B/w illustrations. Minimal bumping to spine. Small booksellers sticker to front pastedown. Inscription in red ink to front endpaper has been partially erased. Some page edge browning and foxing. Price-cut dustwrapper is just a little edge worn with a small brown mark to top edge of front flap.

Minimal bumping to spine and corners. Page browning and foxing throughout else contents clean. One page is detached but still present (61/2). Dustwrapper is edge rubbed, creased and torn with neat tape repairs on verso.
