Slightly better than very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. A study of the pure-bred Spanish or Andalusian horse, incorporating a short history of the breed. The text traces the important part which this breed has played in the evolution of other breeds such as the Lippizaner and thoroughbred. First published in Spain in 1989, this is the English translation. Green cloth boards, gilt title to spine and vignette to front. Colour photos throughout. 344 pages.
Spine very slightly cocked. Corners lightly bumped, lower front corner worn. A few very minor marks to text block. Contents are clean. Green pictorial dustwrapper is edge-worn with a small closed tear to top of spine, scuffed.
