Almost very good condition. A Tale of the Peninsular War. Blue cloth, gilt titles and decorations. 8 b/w plates. 10 battle plans. 346 pages.

Spine and corners bumped and a little worn. Spine is browned. Bottom front corner is heavily bumped. Top of front cover is bumped. A few marks to covers. Front and back joints beginning to crack. Inscription in ink to front endpaper and a name printed in ink. 'Special Prize' written in ink to rear pastedown. Rear endpaper creased. Foxing especially to endpapers and fingering to page margins.
