Remains of book label to front endpaper. Browning to endpapers, title page and some page edges. Some hinges cracked. Foxing mainly to page edges. One plate creased at top corner. Dusty marks to last page of text, although text is still legible.

Splits to spine edges, backstrip possibly glued into place, a little loss of cloth from top of spine. Cover a bit grubby, front cover scratched. Endpapers browned and foxed. Q1441 in pen to front endpaper and small smudge to top corner. Foxing, mainly to text block and prelims. A few marks to contents.
