Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
A psychological novel. Raskolnikov, a destitute and desperate former student, wanders through the slums of St Petersburg and commits a random murder without remorse or regret... Translated by Constance Garnett. Dramatic red and black pictorial cloth. B/w illustrations. vi and 454 pages. No slipcase as issued. Lower edge of boards faded/marked. Text block browned and water stained. Foxing to endpapers and prelims else contents clean. Matching red pictorial dustwrapper is marked and dampstained along the lower edge, faded to spine with some light rubbing to top.
