Slightly better than very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. Volume 4: The Uncommercial Traveller and Other Papers 1859-70. Edited by Michael Slater and John Drew. This is the fourth and final volume of the first annotated edition of Dickens' Journalism. It gathers together articles, essays and recollections published during the last decade of Dickens' life, before his untimely death in 1870, and represents the culmination of a lifetime's work in popular journalism. Black cloth boards, gilt title to spine. xxxiii and 476 pages including index.

Boards clean. Text block slightly grubby. Couple of minor 'dints' to prelims else contents clean. Cream pictorial dustwrapper is faded to spine, base of spine has a tear, no loss.
