Large format. Pictorial cardwraps show boy & girl in a sailing boat on a lake playing musical instruments with a swan in the foreground. Six colour plates. B/w illustrations. Includes a section on astronomical occurrences in the year 1877. 72 pages including publisher adverts to rear. Paper spine worn with much loss and thus covers becoming detached. Covers worn at edges, rear cover has small amount of loss to margins and top corner crease. Covers a little grubby but bright. A few light corner creases. Contents generally clean. All plates present.
