Slightly better than very good condition in a slightly better than very good dustwrapper. The badges of the British Army were not chosen at random but for the meaning of their designs. Interpreting the meaning of a badge helps us understand and appreciate something of the history and ideals of the British soldier and through them, the British Army itself. Dark pink paper boards, black title label with gilt title to spine, gilt vignette to front. Colour photos throughout. xii and 539 pages including index.

Spine slightly cocked. Contents clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is lightly scuffed.
