Very good condition in a poor dustwrapper. The author's racing years. An account of a life spent in the services of motor-racing, of almost overwhelming difficulties which have been overcome, and of the fulfillment of a life's ambition to produce a representative racing car that could uphold the prestige of his beloved country. Blue cloth boards, silver title to spine. B/w photos.
Inscription in green ink to front endpaper. Text block and endpapers lightly foxed. Contents clean. Blue pictorial dustwrapper is torn with tape repairs to edges, bleeding through of tape adhesive to outside of the dustwrapper and a few chips of loss. Slight musty odour present.
