Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. The entire territory of France, where the art of wall painting was highly developed in mediaeval times, has been combined for this pictorial record of her mural treasures. Large format. Mottled blue cloth boards with gilt title to spine and publisher's vignette to front. 30 pages of text plus 91 illustrations.
Light browning to spine and board edges. Text block browned. Ex-lib rubber stamp to front pastedown. Scattered foxing present. Dustwrapper is browned and worn at top of spine.
