Very good condition. Three volumes bound as one in modern red cloth binding with gilt title 'Britton's Cathedrals' to spine with date of '1816' to base of spine. Contains: The History and Antiquities of the See and Cathedral Church of Norwich 1816; The History and Antiquities of the Metropolitical Church of York 1819; The History and Antiquities of the Abbey, and Cathedral Church of Peterborough 1828. Marbled text block. B/w engravings of views, elevations, plans etc.
First printings, latest date is 1828. A few minor grubby marks to boards which are otherwise bright. Top corner tips of boards very lightly bumped. Some foxing to contents, mainly to plates. Binding is lovely and tight. Overall, a decent copy in modern binding.
