This book provides a detailed history of the labourer during the period 1760-1832 and shows how the Industrial Revolution overturned the old working order and introduced dramatic changes not only to the worker's employment but to his whole life. Green cloth boards, gilt title to spine.

Text block a little scuffed. Pages browned. Contents clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is faded top spine, scuffed to rear panel and has an old price label to rear.
