Published by Ducimus Books. Circa. 1970
Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. Camouflage and markings of aircraft used by Royal Air Force Fighter Command in Northern Europe between the years 1936-1945. The development of camouflage in the Royal Air Force was made progressively and each change of colour or style of markings was brought about for a definite reason, usually as a result of operational experience and necessity. Blue cloth with gilt title to spine. B/w photos and illustrations. Some colour illustrations. 294 pages including index.
Rubber ink stamp of aircraft and 'Angus Page 6' below in red ink to front endpaper - very neat. Bumping to corners. Some fading along cover edges. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Some page browning. Wrapper is browned with edge-creasing and chipping; virtually no loss.
