COASTAL COMMAND 1939-1945
by Ian Carter
Published by Ian Allan Publishing. 1st. 2004
Slightly better than very good condition in a nearly fine dustwrapper. Royal Air Force Coastal Command played a key part in the Allied victory during the Second World War, most notably during the Battle of the Atlantic when its aircraft participated in bitter convoy battles. This book contains a wealth of photographs from the archives of the Imperial War Museum, many published for the first time. Black cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos. 160 pages.
Faint grubby mark to front endpaper and tiny remains of a label. Otherwise, a lovely copy. Dustwrapper is lightly scuffed to rear panel.
