Almost very good condition. Second Edition. In addition to telling the story of Fred Shaw's pigeon-racing career, this book also pays tribute to the genius of Renier Gurnay, the creator of the Gurnay strain. Blue cloth, gilt titles. B/w photos. vi and 137 pages.

Covers marked, title to spine faded, base of spine worn and split at front edge. Corners worn. Write-up on The Widowhood System by Gurnay taped onto front endpaper. Hinges lightly pulled. Contents a little grubby.
