The full technical, design and manufacturing story of all marks and variants of Spitfires, in all configurations and modified forms, plus the Seafire and 'Super Seafire', Spiteful and Seafang. Large, heavy format. Colour pictorial endpapers. B/w photos and sketches. Colour illustrations. XXII and 650 pages.

Top edge of front cover has heavy bump, with some chipping. A little page browning, else contents are fine. Wrapper is a bit edge-creased, with some fading to spine.
