Nearly fine condition in a slightly better than very good dustwrapper. Black cloth, gilt title to spine. 18 b/w illustrations including frontis. Written as the result of research work undertaken with a view to considering and recording the history of one of the ancient customary rights in that interesting but comparatively unknown part of England-the Forest of Dean. Second edition with emendations to the first edition and an update of the whole to 2002. 598 pages.

Light foxing to top edge of textblock. Spine of wrapper is very slightly browned.
