Jennings As Usual

Back to Jennings Information Page

It was Jennings - as usual - who took the lead in the more original enterprises of the Christmas term at Linbury Court School... And, as usual, it was Jennings who was largely to blame for the disasters which followed. There was, for instance, the Form 3 Home-made High Fidelity Telephone designed for transmitting vital messages between Mars (Dormitory 4) and Earth (Dormitory 6): there was Jennings' well-meant attempt to turn over a new leaf - a state of affairs which led to more chaos than the effort was worth. As though this was not enough to try the patience of the long-suffering Mr. Wilkins there followed the nerve-racking affair of the Assistant Masterpiece and the ill-fated incident of the Christmas decorations which resulted in unexpected developments at the end-of-term party...
