Author declares book has a limited audience: it is unsuitable for readers under twelve and over ninety. Purple boards with red title block to spine. B/w illustrations. 168 pages.

Fading to cover margins, top and bottom edges faded to white. Spine lightly faded. Faint stamp to front endpaper. Foxing and browning to endpapers. Foxing to contents, mostly page margins. Dustwrapper is edge worn, creased and torn but with very little loss. Foxed on verso.
