The very first Noddy book, in which Big-Ears discovers the little nodding man who has run away from Old Man Carver and takes him back to Toyland. Red pictorial covers with rounded spine. 61 pages. 7.5 x 5.5". Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Endpapers partly browned. Some light browning to textblock and some light marks to page margins. A couple of hinges slightly cracked. Dustwrapper is edge torn with magic tape repairs on verso, small peice torn and missing from top edge of front panel.

There is a small patch of surface paper damage to front panel of wrapper.

Text block browned. Initials to title page. Foxing and some grubby marks throughout. Rear hinge split.
